“Hubbell Lighting leads the industry in sustainable lighting solutions and offers the widest variety of energy-efficient products to serve a wide array of applications,” said Michael Earps, Spectrum owner and president. “We are proud to be associated with the leader in LED technology at the forefront of lighting innovation.”

In 2002, Hubbell, headquartered in Greenville, SC, acquired Lighting Corporation of America in one of the largest acquisitions in the history of the lighting industry, transforming Hubbell Lighting into one of the largest lighting manufacturers in North America. As a core business platform of Hubbell Incorporated, Hubbell Lighting draws great inspiration from the company’s long history of proven performance since 1888 and its culture of new product innovation.

“Spectrum Lighting + Controls has a long and distinguished history in the lighting industry encompassing all segments of our business,” said Chris Stockton, Southeast Regional Vice President at Hubbell Lighting.  “Spectrum’s highly trained , professional and experienced associates will do a fantastic job of supporting all of the needs for our customers across all of the Hubbell Brands.”

Hubbell’s platform focuses on developing new lighting technologies; maintaining state-of-the-art development labs for faster-to-market product delivery; featuring 23 brands of practical, innovative products and services to offer lighting solutions for virtually every application; and holding the largest offering of LED residential and commercial fixtures recognized by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA).

With the broadest selection of high quality, top performing indoor and outdoor lighting products available, Hubbell Lighting offers cost-saving lighting upgrades for existing facilities as well. In most older buildings, an energy-efficient lighting upgrade can save 40%-50% of lighting energy.

Hubbell boasts multiple benefits for our customers, including:

  • Hubbell is the only lighting manufacturer with a USGBC LEED® Silver certified headquarters.
  • They offer more light emitting diode (LED) fixtures than any other fixture manufacturer.
  • Hubbell reduces job site dunnage by using job packs and engineered packaging solutions and converting to biodegradable packaging materials.
  • They have implemented recycling programs for defective returns and scrap.
  • Hubbell is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
